Unnur Birna Vilhjálmsdóttir

Unnur Birna Vilhjálmsdóttir (born May 25, 1984 in Reykjavík ) was Miss Iceland in 2005 . In December 2005 she was crowned Miss World .

life and career

Unnur Birna was born as the daughter of the former beauty queen Unnur Steinsson , who herself reached the final of the Miss World election in 1983. She grew up in Seltjarnarnes . Most recently, she studied at the University of Reykjavik Law .

Unnur Birna is the third Miss World from Iceland after Hólmfríður Karlsdóttir (1985) and Linda Pétursdóttir (1988).
