Tabea Vogel (born September 9, 1979 ) is a Swiss musician , Swiss Music Awards winner and professional photographer from Zurich and singer in the women's band Härz.

Live and act

Tabea Vogel grew up in Aeschiried (BE), moved in her childhood to Wetzikon (ZH) for several years and later to Seewis in Prättigau (GR). At the age of 11 she began to play the flute and piano. At the age of 14 she started taking classical singing lessons. In the same year she also recorded her first demo. She subsequently studied singing at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Zurich and at the Zurich Jazz School.

At the age of 20 Vogel sang in her first band Sulco, with which she recorded a studio album in 2004. Sulco was then the backing band for Swingbesa, now known as Dabu Fantastic . In 2002 Vogel sang as a background singer for the Swiss reggae musician Phenomden on a short tour . In 2006 she took over the position of front woman for the band RundFunk .

In 2006 Vogel started a solo career and released an EP together with bassist Kü in the same year. In 2014 the EP "Singing Bird" followed. In 2006 she also made it into the first round of the casting show "Superstar" on the TV channel 3+ . In 2011 she applied for the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Go on".

In 2017 she joined the mother band Härz. Their self-named debut album immediately made it to number 3 on the Swiss hit parade, the third single "Sonä Momänt" to number 11. In 2019, Vogel and the entire band Härz received a Swiss Music Award. The band's second album will be released in 2020.

Private

Tabea Vogel is married and has two children. In addition to her work as a singer, she works as a professional photographer. She has a photo studio in Zurich.
