Phenomden (born July 18, 1980 in Adliswil ; real name Dennis Furrer ) is a Swiss dialect - reggae artist from Zurich - Wiedikon .
biography
He began his career live and in the studio as a singer for the band Hillside Possee . In 2004 he released his first solo single Cha Nüt Defür and a year later his debut album Fang Ah with the collaboration of artists such as The Scrucialists and The Ganglords . His album was produced by Silly Walks Movement and Pow Pow Movement from the German reggae scene, among others . In 2006 Phenomden performed at the Splash Festival, among others . In 2007 he released his second studio album Style-Generator under his new stage name Phenom Melody .
In addition to his commitment as a musician, Furrer also works as a comic artist and, with his film Birdy , was able to win the Suisse Image young talent award and the PISAF jury award.
The album Gangdalang was mainly produced by the Swiss The Scrucialists and Ganglords and the Germans Pow Pow Movement , Ganjaman , Supersonic Sound , Rootdown Records and Jr. Blender. Guest musicians were Rebellion the Recaller from Gambia and IBK Tribe from Austria.
On December 9th, 2011 a new album called Eiland came out.
