Tabivere (German: Tabbifer ) was an Estonian rural community in Jõgeva County with an area of 201 km². It had 2,454 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2010).
In addition to the main town Tabivere (1118 inhabitants), the municipality included the villages Elistvere (German: Ellistfer ), Juula, Kaiavere , Kaitsemõisa, Kassema, Koogi, Kõduküla, Kõnnujõe, Kõrenduse, Kärksi, Lilu, Maarja, Õvanurme, Reinuastvere, Pataste, Raiglava , Sepa, Sortsi, Tormi, Uhmardu, Vahi, Valgma and Voldi.
Tabivere was first mentioned in 1585 as Tarbafer . The municipality is located on the banks of the Saadjärv , Raigastjärv and Soitsjärv lakes . The landscape is dominated by forests.
