There he scored one goal in his four appearances and qualified with the team by making it to the semi-finals for the 2009 Junior World Cup in Egypt.

In early 2009, it was announced that Minniecon was moving to expansion team Gold Coast United for the 2009/10 season. The main reason for the move was financial, as he is said to earn around A $ 130,000 as a junior marquee player at United, significantly more than at Queensland Roar.

After Gold Coast United's game license was withdrawn due to many rule violations against the A-League guidelines, he announced his move to the newly founded club Western Sydney Wanderers for the 2012/13 season .
