Taimyr Golf
The Taymyr Gulf is a sea gulf north of the far north of Siberia situated Taimyr Peninsula in Russia ( Asia ).
It is located about 1,100 km north of the Arctic Circle in an eastern part of the Kara Sea , which is part of the Arctic Ocean . It spreads between the Nordenskiöld Archipelago in the west and the barely populated Taimyr Peninsula in the south and east. The Severnaya Zemlya archipelago is located an average of 400 km north of the gulf .
The Taimyra River in particular flows into the Taimyr Gulf .
