Taishi Matsumoto ( Japanese 松本 泰 志 , Matsumoto Taishi ; born August 22, 1998 in Higashimatsuyama , Saitama Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
society
Taishi Matsumoto learned to play soccer in the youth teams of Konan Minami Soccer Shonendan and Kumagaya SC and the school team of Shohei High School . In 2017 he signed his first professional contract with Sanfrecce Hiroshima . The club from Hiroshima , a port city in the southwest of the Japanese main island of Honshū , played in the country's highest league, the J1 League .

Taishi Matsumoto played ten times in the U-21 and 16 times in the Japanese U-23 national team .
