The Werder Kietz nature reserve is located in the municipality of Lenzerwische in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg .

The area with the identification number 1423 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of May 16, 1990 . The approximately 127 hectare nature reserve extends northwest, west and south of the core town of Lenzerwische and west of Kietz , an inhabited part of the municipality of Lenzerwische. The area is located directly on the west-flowing Elbe . The state border with Lower Saxony runs along the middle of the Elbe , the B 195 runs to the east.
