The Elbdeichvorland nature reserve is located in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg .

The area with the identification number 1383 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of May 16, 1990 . The 687 hectare nature reserve stretches west and south-west of the core town of Cumlosen along the Elbe . The state border with Saxony-Anhalt runs in the middle of the Elbe . The B 195 runs east.
