The Elbdeich hinterland nature reserve is located in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg .

The area with the identification number 1388 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of May 16, 1990 . The 816 hectare nature reserve extends south of the central town of Cumlosen . The Elbe flows to the west and runs along the state border with Saxony-Anhalt (in the middle of the Elbe). The B 195 runs east.
