The Werder Mödlich nature reserve is located in the municipality of Lenzerwische in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg .

The area with the identification number 1424 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of May 16, 1990 . The approximately 155 hectare nature reserve extends south, south-west and south-east of Mödlich , an inhabited part of the municipality of Lenzerwische , along the south-flowing Elbe . The B 195 runs not far to the north and the border with Lower Saxony runs south along the middle of the Elbe . To the south of the area - on the Lower Saxony side - lies Vietze , a district of the municipality of Höhbeck in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district .
