Taka-iwa ( Japanese 高 岩 'high rock' ) is a 2221 m high rocky outcrop in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It rises immediately southeast of Mount Gaston de Gerlache in the southern part of the Queen Fabiola Mountains .
Japanese scientists made measurements in 1960 and naming in 1979.
