Takashi Suzuki ( Japanese 鈴木 隆 司 , Suzuki Takashi ; born September 16, 1948 ) is a former Japanese racing car driver .

Career in motorsport

Takashi Suzuki competed in the Le Mans 24 Hours twice in his career . In 1996 he drove a Porsche 911 GT2 registered by Seikel Motorsport together with Guy Fuster and Manfred Jurasz to 18th place in the overall standings. A year later it failed prematurely in the works - Marcos Mantara LM600 after an engine failure.

Apart from Le Mans, he competed several times in the 1000 km race in Suzuka and the 24-hour race in Daytona . His greatest success in international sports car racing was seventh overall in Suzuka 2000 .
