Takayuki Sasaki ( Japanese 佐 々 木 孝 元 , Sasaki Takayuki ) is a former Japanese ski jumper .

Career

On December 7, 1986 Sasaki made his debut in the Ski Jumping World Cup . In Thunder Bay he achieved his first World Cup points with 12th place and ended up in 44th place in the overall World Cup ranking. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1987 in Oberstdorf , Sasaki jumped from the normal hill to 64th and from the large hill to 44th place. After the World Cup, Sasaki retired to the national level for many years and only competed in Japan.

From 1994 Sasaki started in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup , where he remained without major success. In January 1994 and 1995 he was nominated for the jumping in Sapporo and was able to jump into the points in both competitions on the large hill. In 1994 he achieved the best single result of his career with 11th place.
