Takeshi Ono ( Japanese 小野 剛 Ono Takeshi ; born August 17, 1962 in Chiba Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player and coach.
Career
Ono learned to play soccer on the school team at Chiba Funabashi High School and the university team at Tsukuba University . From October 2002 to April 2006 he was the coach of the J1 League club Sanfrecce Hiroshima . At the end of the 2002 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In 2003 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. From 2014 to 2015 he was the coach of the J2 League club Roasso Kumamoto .
