Takeshi Saitō ( Japanese 斉 藤 武志 , Saitō Takeshi ; born June 1, 1979 in Yamagata Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Saitō learned to play football in the youth team of JEF United Ichihara . He signed his first contract in 1998 with the Montedio Yamagata . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . For the club he completed 24 games. At the end of 2003 he ended his career as a soccer player.
