The Takev Point (English, Bulgarian Такев нос Takew nos ) is a rocky headland on the Foyn coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It forms 4.65 km west-southwest of Spur Point and 8.17 km east-northeast of Varad Point, the southern branch of the Heros Peninsula in Cabinet Inlet .
British scientists mapped them in 1974. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2013 after Vasily Takew, who was involved in several campaigns of the Bulgarian Antarctic program from 1996 onwards.
