The Heros Peninsula ( Bulgarian полуостров Херос poluostrow Cheros ) is a 13 km and 8.9 km wide peninsula on the Foyn coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It protrudes in a south-easterly direction into the Cabinet Inlet and ends in Spur Point .
British scientists mapped it in 1974. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2013 after the deity Heros , the Thracian horseman .
