Taking One for the Team is the fifth studio album of Canadian pop-rock - band Simple Plan . It was published on February 19, 2016 by Atlantic and is a follow-up to Get Your Heart On! the band's first studio album after five years.

- The first single from the album was I Don't Wanna Go to Bed , and was released on October 16, 2015.
- The second single Opinion Overload was released on February 5, 2016, two weeks before the album was released. A music video was also released for the single .

reception
The reviews of the album are rather negative. Markus Brandstetter, for example, finally describes the album as pubescent on laut.de.
On plattentests.de , Marcel Menne describes the songs on the album as meaningless and their structures as entertaining and very simple . Furthermore, no development of the band could be seen in it. The album was rated there with 3 out of 10 points.
