Taglung Kagyu
Taglung-Kagyu ( Tib . : stag lung bka 'brgyud ) refers to one of the schools that emerged from the Kagyu school tradition of Tibetan Buddhism .
The Taklung Kagyu is one of the so-called "eight small schools" of the Kagyu and was after that of Taglung Thangpa Trashi Pel (Tib .: stag lung thang pa bkra shis dpal ; founded in 1180 1142-1209 / 10) Taklung Monastery named . Taglung Thangpa Trashi Pel was a student of Phagmo Drupa Dorje Gyelpo (1110–1170), one of Gampopa's most important students . One of the current lineage holders of the Taglung Kagyu school is the 7th Phagchog Rinpoche (Tib .: 'phags mchog rin po che ). The Nyingma lama Chokling Jigme Palden Rinpoche , who lives in Switzerland, also holds the transmission of the Taglung Kagyu.
