Takuma Koga ( Japanese 古 賀 琢磨 , Koga Takuma ; born April 30, 1969 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Koga learned to play football on the school team at Shimizu Higashi High School and the university team at Juntendo University . He signed his first contract in 1992 with Yamaha Motors (today: Júbilo Iwata). The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . In 1993 he was runner-up with the club in the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . With the club he became Japanese champions in 1997 and 1999 . In 1998 he won the J.League Cup with the club . For the club he completed 186 games. In 2000 he moved to the league competitor Shimizu S-Pulse . In 2000 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup . In 2001 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club. For the club, he completed 60 top division games. In 2003 he moved to league rivals Cerezo Osaka . For the club he completed 16 first division games. At the end of 2003 he ended his career as a soccer player.
