The Talal Abu Ghazaleh Organization (TAGOrg; Arabic مجموعة طلال أبو غزالة, DMG Maǧmūʿat Ṭalāl Abū Ġazāla ) is the largest Arab business group providing services in the fields of accounting , management consulting , training , intellectual property, legal services , information technology, capacity building, credit information and translation of legal texts. The group operates around 80 offices worldwide.

history

In 1972 TAGorg was founded as Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. (TAGCO) in Kuwait by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh . 1974 Talal Abu Ghazaleh and Co. entered into an association with Price Waterhouse. The joint company is known as Price Waterhouse Abu Ghazaleh. In 1979 the joint venture with Price Waterhouse was ended. In 1983 the Arab Association for Certified Accountants (ASCA) was established in London , England . In 1985 Talal Abu-Ghazaleh was awarded the French Chevalier en la Legion d'Honneur in Paris at the Elysée Palace , and the first Arab International Conference on Accounting was held in Tunisia .

In 1987 the Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASPIP) was founded, later known as the Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASIP) . In 1989 the Arab Society of Management was formed, later renamed the Society of Arab Knowledge and Management (AKMS) . In 1997 the Arab Licensing and Technology Transfer Society (ALTTS) was founded. In 2001, TAGI agreed with the WTO to launch an Arab WTO website. In the same year an agreement was signed between TAGI and Cambridge University (CIE). In 2004, AGIP published the Dictionary of Intellectual Property , AGIP's press agency was established and the ACPA certificate was recognized by Cambridge University. In 2005 the company formed a global strategic partnership with TAGorg. In 2006 the Talal Abu Ghazaleh Business School (en: Talal Abu Ghazaleh College of Business (TAGCB) ) was opened as part of the German-Jordanian university.
