Talos Kedl

Talos Kedl (born November 15, 1967 in Vienna ) is an Austrian artist with a focus on sculptors .

Life

As the son of the sculptor Rudolf Kedl and the academic painter Christine Elefant-Kedl, he grew up in Markt Neuhodis in Burgenland and learned the artistic techniques of metal and stone processing at an early age. From 1990 to 1995 he studied business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business . Recognized as a freelance artist from 1999, he worked in a studio supported by the City of Vienna in Davidgasse, and from 2004 he moved into the studio in Heumühlgasse. From 2010 he built the 15,000 m² artificial meadow in Markt Neuhodis. He is a member of the KGB artist group Burgenland. Talos Kedl's work includes paintings, reliefs, stone sculptures and, above all, large copper sculptures. Exhibitions in Austria and internationally, for example in Hamburg , Basel , Berlin , Tokyo and Taipei , as well as permanent sculpture installations in public spaces, in Eisenstadt and on the Kunstwiese in Markt Neuhodis. He lives and works in Vienna and Markt Neuhodis.
