The Tameer Commercial Tower is the name of a skyscraper on Reem Island in Abu Dhabi , the capital of the United Arab Emirates , that is currently in a phase of construction freeze. Construction work began in 2008. Completion of the tower was planned for 2012, but construction work was stopped in autumn 2012 for economic reasons. When their resumption is unknown.
