Tamina Knauer (born February 18, 1994 ) is a German foil fencer .

Life

Tamina Knauer grew up in Mönchröden and began her athletic career at TSV Mönchröden. She fought for the Coburg TS until July 31, 2007. Since August 1st, 2007 she has been playing for the Tauberbischofsheim fencing club and training at the Tauberbischofsheim Olympic base . From 2010, Knauer attended the business vocational school and from 2012 the business high school of the Tauberbischofsheim commercial school , which she graduated from high school in 2015. From August 2015 to September 2017 she was a member of the Bundeswehr Sports Promotion Group. Since October 1, 2017, she has been part of the 3rd company of the NBC Defense Battalion 750 "Baden".

Sporting successes

Knauer won the bronze medal in the individual foil foil and the gold medal in the team with her teammates from the Tauberbischofsheim fencing club at the German fencing championships in 2015 . At the German fencing championships in 2016 , she won the silver medal. This was followed by the bronze medal in the saber at the Military World Games CISM Korea. Most recently, she won second place with the Mix Team at the Military World Cup and ended her career with a silver medal from Acireale.
