Tan Daoji

Tan Daoji ( Chinese  檀 道 濟  /  檀 道 济 , Pinyin Tán Dàojì , Jyutping Taan 4 Dou 6 zai 3 ; * in the 4th century ; † 436 ) was a high-ranking general of the Chinese Southern Song Dynasty.

Since he was in very high regard, he was feared by Emperor Wen and his brother, Prime Minister Liu Yikang (409–451), Prince of Pengcheng. He took advantage of an illness of the Emperor Wen to arrest Tan Daoji and execute him on false charges of high treason.
