Tan Jian

Tan Jian ( Chinese  譚 建  /  谭 建 , Pinyin Tán Jiàn; born January 20, 1988 ) is a Chinese discus thrower .

In 2006 she became Asian junior champion and won bronze at the World Junior Athletics Championships in Beijing .

In 2011 she was sixth at the World Athletics Championships in Daegu .

At the 2012 Olympic Games, she failed to make a valid attempt in the first round.

In 2013 she was sixth again at the World Cup in Moscow , and in 2014 she took bronze at the Asian Games in Incheon . In 2015 she won bronze at the Asian Athletics Championships and was eliminated from qualifying at the World Championships in Beijing .

She set her personal best of 64.45 m on May 12, 2012 in Wiesbaden .
