Tandara Alves Caixeta (born October 30, 1988 in Brasília ) is a Brazilian volleyball player and 2012 Olympic champion .

Career

Caixeta started her career in 2005 at Associação Desportiva Brusque . In the same year she won the U-18 World Cup with the Brazilian youth. In 2007 the title at the U-20 World Cup followed. The universal player also made her debut in 2007 in the senior national team . In the 2007/08 season she played for the Osasco Voleibol Clube before moving to EC Pinheiros in 2008 . In 2009 Caixeta returned to Brusque and in 2010/11 she was under contract with Vôlei Futuro . With the national team, she won the South American Championship and the Pan American Games in 2011 . In addition, Brazil reached the final of the Grand Prix . Since 2011 Caixeta has been playing in Osasco again. With the club she became Brazilian champion in 2012. Then she won the gold medal with Brazil at the Olympic Games in London .
