Tang Dan

Tang Dan ( Chinese  唐丹 , Pinyin Táng Dān ; born September 11, 1975 in Chengdu , China ) is a Chinese film director .

Life

Tang graduated from 1991 to 1998 with a degree in art and painting at the Sichuan Art College . During this time, from 1997 to 1998, she was an exchange student at the Kunsthochschule Kassel , from which she received a scholarship because of her achievements. In 2000 Tang went to Wuppertal to study communication design (specialization: photo and film). After visiting the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin as a guest student in 2001/2002 , she successfully applied to the “Konrad Wolf” University of Film and Television in Potsdam-Babelsberg in 2003 . In 2007 she completed her master's degree in film directing there.
