Tango Five was a German music ensemble that consisted of the four musicians Gregor Hübner (violin), Veit Hübner (double bass), Bernd Ruf (clarinet) and Karl Albrecht "Bobbi" Fischer (piano and viola). The ensemble was moving in the musical border area of classical music , jazz , world music and comedy , with the interpretations by integrating jazz, Gipsy - and klezmer elements were marked.

biography

Started as a student group, the music ensemble has developed into a better-known tango formation since part of the band met Raúl Jaurena in 1998 .

In 2004, the Einhalden Festival was set up in the vicinity of the ensemble.

Three members of Tango Five (Gregor Huebner, Veit Huebner and Karl Albrecht "Bobbi" Fischer) came together after the formation of the Ensemble Berta Epple .
