Tanja Walliser (born January 4, 1986 ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Tanja Walliser grew up in Bremgarten in the canton of Aargau and joined the Young Socialist Party at the age of 16. After graduating from high school, she moved to Bern , where she studied history, sociology and political science at the University of Bern . From May 23, 2009 to March 12, 2011, she was Central Secretary of Juso Switzerland.

In the summer of 2009 she moved to the Bern city ​​parliament, where she was a member of the SP / Juso parliamentary group.

From 2011 to 2016 she worked for the Unia union, most recently as a team leader in the Zurich-Schaffhausen region. She has been Political Secretary at the SP Zurich since the beginning of 2017 and represents the SP on the Dübendorf municipal council. In addition, she leads the SP Dübendorf as co-president.

In 2011 she attacked the women's organization of her party and called for its abolition as a special group: "The SP women pursues an equality policy that is a deterrent for many, men are not even welcome", which is now a hindrance to developing progressive positions.
