The Tanji Bridge is a road bridge in the West African state of Gambia . The 40-meter-long and nine-meter-wide bridge spans the Tanji River north of the village of Tanji, directly at the mouth of the river in the Atlantic Ocean . She crosses the Coastal Road . The bridge was renewed between 1998 and 2000.
The older Tanji Bridge, which is about ten meters further east, is no longer used.
