Tarık Küpoğlu (born January 1, 1948 in Istanbul ) is a former Turkish football player .

Career

Tarık Küpoğlu started his career at Sarıyer SK . In the second division, the defender played for two years and then moved to Galatasaray Istanbul .

In his first season with Galatasaray, the defender made 23 games and became Turkish champions for the first time. Küpoğlu was able to successfully defend the championship with his teammates in the following season 1972/73.

In the summer of 1976 Küpoğlu Galatasaray left for the United States and played from then on for the Las Vegas Quicksilvers in the North American Soccer League (NASL). This was followed by an engagement with the New England Oceaneers in the American Soccer League (ASL) and another with the New Jersey Americans , who were represented in the same league.
