Tarō Gotō ( Japanese 後 藤 太郎 , Gotō Tarō ; * December 24, 1969 in Hiroshima Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Gotō learned to play football in the school team of Tokai University Daigo High School and the university team of Tōkai University . He signed his first contract with Nagoya Grampus Eight in 1992 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club, he completed 45 first division games. In 1995 he moved to league rivals JEF United Ichihara . For the club, he completed 12 top division games. In 1997 he moved to the second division Sagan Tosu . At the end of 1998 he ended his career as a football player.
