Taran Noah Smith

Taran Noah Smith (born April 8, 1984 in San Francisco , California , USA ) is an American actor .

Taran is best known for his role in the television series Listen, Who's That Hammering , as the youngest son of Tim Taylor ( Tim Allen ), Marcus Jason "Mark" Taylor . He has also appeared in several television and cinema productions.

It was named after the main character in Lloyd Alexander's Chronicles of Prydain novel series for young adults. His parents are David and Candy Smith. His older sister, seven years old, is model Ariandrea Aria Hilary Smith.

Taran taught himself to play the drums. His hobbies are motorcycling, sailing and especially flying in the family's two-seater plane. He graduated from high school early.

On April 27, 2001, he married - against the will of his parents - the 16 years older Heidi Van Pelt, columnist for Pitch Weekly . Their son Nolan Eric Smith was born on October 16, 2005. On February 2, 2007, this marriage was divorced again.
