Tarariras , also known as Joaquin Suarez , is a city in southern Uruguay .

geography

The city lies in the territory of the Department of Colonia in its sector 12 at an altitude of 73 meters above sea level. It is located around 45 km from the capital of the department, Colonia del Sacramento . The distance to the state capital Montevideo is 165 km.

history

On August 27, 1959, Tarariras received the Ley No. 12,621 were given the designation Villa .
