Facundo Píriz , full name Facundo Julián Píriz González , (born March 27, 1990 in Tarariras ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

Depending on the sources, the 1.78 meters or 1.89 meters tall midfielder Píriz belonged to the squad of the Uruguayan first division club Nacional Montevideo at the beginning of his career in the Apertura 2008 and again from the Clausura 2010 . In the 2009/10 season he ran once (no goal) in the Primera División . In the three following seasons, 59 more Premier League appearances followed for the Montevideans, in which he scored twice in the opposing goal (2010/11: 21 games (1 goal); 2011/12: 28 (1); 2012/13 : 10 (0)) ). He was also set up in nine games (no goal) of the Copa Libertadores and five games (no goal) of the Copa Sudamericana . With the "Bolsos" he won the two national championship titles in 2010/11 and 2011/12. In January 2013, after the Apertura 2012, he left Uruguay for Russia , where he joined Terek Grozny . At the club from the autonomous republic of Chechnya , he completed 69 games in the Premier League and scored three goals. In the Russian cup competition he was used seven times (no goal). In the second half of July 2017, the French first division club HSC Montpellier signed him .

National team

Píriz was part of the Uruguayan U-20 selection . He was a member of Diego Aguirre's squad at the 2009 U-20 South American Championship in Venezuela . There he played four tournament games (no goal). With the Pan America selection (U-22) of Uruguay, he took part in the Pan American Games 2011 in Mexico . There he won the bronze medal with the team and contributed to it with five international appearances (one goal).
