Andy Delort (born October 9, 1991 in Sète ) is a French-Algerian football player on the position of a striker .
career

Delort spent his childhood and youth alternately with his hometown clubs FC Sète and Pointe Courte AC Sète .
In 2008 he received his first professional contract with AC Ajaccio , with which he was under contract in two phases until the summer of 2013. After a successful 2013/14 second division season at Tours FC , in which he was the top scorer , Delort was signed by Wigan Athletic in the summer of 2014 . Due to ongoing disagreements between the transferring and the acquiring club, Delort finally returned to Tours FC for the remainder of the season and was signed by the French first division club SM Caen for the 2015/16 season .
In the summer of 2016 he followed his compatriot André-Pierre Gignac to Mexico , where both together with the Tigres UANL , the Mexican football championship of Apertura 2016 won.
National team
On May 17, 2011 Delort came in a friendly against the selection of the same age from the United States (3: 3) to his only use for the French U-20 national team . Delort received Algerian citizenship in 2019 and now plays for his mother's country.
