Jordan Ferri (born March 12, 1992 in Cavaillon ) is a French football player . The defensive midfielder plays for HSC Montpellier .

Career

Beginnings

Ferri comes from the youth department of Olympique Lyon and has played through all youth teams. For the 2010/11 season he was scheduled for the reserve team. In the following season he also played for the reserve, but stood for four games in the squad of the professional team. In the 2012/13 season he made his competitive debut for Lyon on November 8, 2012, when he came on for Alexandre Lacazette in the 82nd minute in a 3-2 away win in the group stage of the UEFA Europa League against Athletic Bilbao . This was followed by two more appearances in the Europa League on November 22, 2012 and December 6, 2012, this time on the starting line-up for the full season against Sparta Prague and Hapoel Ironi Kirjat Schmona . He made his first appearance in Ligue 1 on December 12, 2012 in a 1-1 draw against AS Nancy-Lorraine when he came on after half an hour for the injured Anthony Réveillère .

In November 2018 Ferri was loaned out to league rivals Olympique Nîmes until the end of the season.

HSC Montpellier

For the 2019/20 season he moved to Ligue 1 rivals HSC Montpellier .
