Tarmno

Tarmno ( German  Tarmen ) is a residential area in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . He belongs to Gmina Barwice (Bärwalde municipality) in the Powiat Szczecinecki (Neustettiner Kreis) .

The place to live is in Western Pomerania , about 120 km east of Szczecin .

Until 1939, Tarmen was a rural community in the Neustettin district of the Prussian province of Pomerania . In 1925 there were 348 inhabitants in 65 households in Tarmen. Besides Tarmen the residential places existed in the municipality Klein Tarmen , war Städt , Sternmühle and Örden . On April 1, 1939, Tarmen was incorporated into the neighboring rural community of Pöhlen .

In 1945 Tarmen, like all areas east of the Oder-Neisse line , came to Poland. The place name was Polonized to "Tarmno".
