Tarzan Cooper

Charles T. "Tarzan" Cooper (born August 30, 1907 in Newark , Delaware , † December 19, 1980 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ) was an American basketball player . The 1.93 m tall Cooper played twelve years (1929-1941) for the New York Renaissance and was considered one of the best centers of the 1930s .

Cooper was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1977.
