The pigeon tower (French colombier or pigeonnier ) in Brières-les-Scellés , a French commune in the Essonne department in the Île-de-France region , was probably built in the 18th century.

The round pigeon tower made of quarry stone at No. 45 rue du Petit-Brière belongs to a former manoir . The manor house with pigeon tower and Grange aux dîmes was bought by the municipality a few years ago. The pigeon house with 1848 pigeon nests has already been extensively renovated, with the ruined roof having to be completely rebuilt. A rotating staircase in the middle, which no longer exists, made it possible to get the pigeon manure out of the nests to use it as fertilizer.
