The pigeon tower (French colombier or pigeonnier ) in Le Mesnil-Germain , a district of the French commune Livarot-Pays-d'Auge in the Calvados department in the Normandy region , was built in the first half of the 17th century. The pigeon tower , which belongs to a manoir , has been on the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique since 1972 .

The octagonal tower in half-timbered construction is crowned by a roof knob with a weather vane .
