The pigeon tower (French colombier or pigeonnier ) in Cairon , a French commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region , was built in the 16th century. The pigeon tower of the castle has been on the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique since 1933 .

The round tower with buttresses is covered with slate .
