The pigeon tower (French colombier or pigeonnier ) in Bessay-sur-Allier , a French commune in the Allier department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region , was built in the 17th century. The pigeon tower stands as part of the Castle of Chaugy since 1986 as a monument historique on the list of monuments in France.

The rectangular pigeon tower at the south-east corner of the wall is made of half-timbered construction. It is crowned by a lantern that is covered with slate . The framework has many St. Andrew's crosses . The rotatable wooden ladder that was used to clean the approximately 200 nests is preserved inside.
