Taubermühle is a former mill as well as a current residential area in the Lauda-Königshofener district of Lauda in the Main-Tauber district in the Franconian north-east of Baden-Württemberg .
geography
The Taubermühle residential area is located on the eastern outskirts of Lauda on the Mühlkanal , which branches off to the left of the Tauber about 400 meters before and joins the Tauber again from the left about 70 meters after the Taubermühle. Mühlkanal and Tauber form a Tauber island.
history
On the table sheet no. 6424 "Königshofen" from 1881 the place was listed as Taubermühle .
The residential area came to the city of Lauda-Königshofen as part of the formerly independent city of Lauda on January 1, 1975, when the city of Lauda merged with the city of Königshofen and the community of Unterbalbach as part of the regional reform in Baden-Württemberg .
