Taufik Fayad

Taufik Fayad (* 1939 in Haifa , League of Nations Mandate for Palestine ) is a Palestinian writer, critic and journalist.

Life

He was arrested several times by the Israeli side in the wake of the Palestine conflict and was in prison from January 1970 to April 1974. In 1974 he went to Beirut . In addition to novels and short stories , he also wrote analyzes of the situation in the areas occupied by Israel and worked as a playwright.
