The half-timbered courtyard in Taufsteinstrasse 10 in Borsdorf , a district of Nidda , in the Wetterau district, shows itself in its uniformity as a typical courtyard complex of the early 19th century in the region. It was created around 1820.

The large, elongated, two-storey residential building in the closed three-sided courtyard faces the street at the gable end and ends with a gable roof. It rests on a rubble stone base and is clad on the gable side and the west side. On the courtyard side the building shows regular half-timbering and cornice-like fine carnies without translations between the floors. The framework is painted dark brown and marked with three- pronged joinery signs . The compartments are kept white. The two right windows of the three-zone gable side are missing.

The completely preserved barn borders the rear of the courtyard to the north and the equally completely preserved outbuilding completes the assembly on the eastern side. The large gate of the barn is a reference to the large implements at the time of the beginning of industrial agriculture.

Due to its typical nature, the courtyard is designated as a cultural monument for scientific reasons.
