After several other appearances in the FIS Cup , he finished on the podium for the first time in February 2008 in the FIS Cup competition in Hinterzarten and came third. One of his greatest successes was winning the FIS Cup competition in Lauscha in January 2009. Shortly before, he had made his debut in the Continental Cup in Engelberg , where he was 50th and 65th.
