Taura Stinson
Taura Stinson (* before 1975 in Birmingham / Alabama ) is an American songwriter . For the title Mighty River from the movie Mudbound , Stinson was nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe in 2018.
Biography and career
Stinson grew up in Oakland / California.
She wrote songs for Destiny's Child , Kelly Rowland , Kelis and Deborah Cox, among others , as well as the film soundtracks for Men In Black, Black Nativity and the title song Beautiful Creature for Rio 2 - Jungle Fever , with Raphael Saadiq among others .
